WOW!
Matched these up with DT Lite shafts and Pure DTX midsize grips. Wow! Like the first review, I'd match these up with the best clubs on the market including the overpriced TaylorMade. Had a tour pro hit them and he was very impressed. With that said, I built them 1.5" over standard, swingweighted them which required butt weighting them, spined them and can't believe how straight and long they are. One issue I had was the loft of the 3 iron was within a half a degree of the 4 iron so I had to bend it to decrease the loft to the advertised 19 degrees. I am a club builder and 4.5 handicap and have my own equipment, so no big deal. If you are building your own, check the lofts if you are hitting two clubs too close to the same distance as I did.

WOW!
At 54 years old and playing golf for nearly 35 years at a 4 handicap, these are the BEST iron head I have ever played. Paired them with the DTG Lite steel shaft and they are sweet! Straight and long. Made them 1.25" over standard length due to back issues, spined the shafts, butt weighted them to swingweight of D-3 and put PURE DTX midsize grips on and can't tell you how impressed I am. Great trajectory. Easy to work and mishits are practically a non-issue. I didn't have to adjust lie though I have my own equipment to do so. I've let 3 other golfers try them and they've all asked me to build them a set because they loved them too. These are the best deal in golf.

Great Iron
Teamed these up with a True Temper SL shafts. Purchased 4-AW. Played for the first time and absolutely pleased. I would match these up to Taylormade any day. Great feel, great sound and great looks. Off center hits won't disappoint and sweet spot strikes will amaze. Great hang time and wonderful distance.

Details

The Turner LPZ Tour Iron incorporates all of the features better golfers are looking for in a club. Reduced offset, traditional size, improved workability and control are incorporated into this design along with some innovative technology. The long and mid irons have a velocity slot that helps to increase distance and improves launch angles. By using an ultra-thin steel face, distance is increased. The short irons have a slightly higher center of gravity that helps to promote a better trajectory that golfers expect in a “Tour” iron. The LPZ Tour irons are a perfect set that combines the best of precision and distance.
