Picked up the Turner S-1 driver after I cracked the head on a name brand driver. That driver was a favorite of mine but for whatever reason replacement became prohibitively expensive for just the head alone. I also have a 10 year old driver but wanted something new. So Turner S-1 to the rescue.
My first thought was this sounds slightly different to me. But different isn't bad. I was thankful for the slider weight on the back of the driver head. I feel like I have that dialed in now. I was a slow swingspeed at below 90mph. Over the winter I concentrated on bringing that swingspeed up with an indoor sim and this driver was part of that equation. I also found that I was able to bring spin down as compared to my previous driver. I am happy to say I am now hitting 20+ yards on average over what I was hitting at the end of last season. I would definitely buy this driver again.
This is 2nd purchase 1st was just head
.2nd put together club this is the longest driver I've hit, been in places never before
People say I got 20-30 yards more actually did
Not thrilled with odd sound but ecstatic with distance
