Built with short legs and long arms, I need a flatter lie on the driver. This head offered a wide range of lie angles, so I matched it with an FGS Tour Launch 70 shaft (which I have used on two previous drivers). After a little tweaking on the range I found the proper setting and improved my accuracy and distance. Drives of 250 are common, and last week I popped one 285 uphill (measured) to a landing area 40 feet above the tee box. Not bad for 64 years old. I am thinking of buying a second head to hold in reserve when this one wears out.
Things to know if you are considering a purchase. The stated loft of my club is 9 degrees and it can be adjusted up to 11 degrees. However, with three variables (lie, loft, face angle) they had to select representative settings so there are 12 choices available, but only four options were potentially viable for me. I recommend calling the company before you purchase and asking for a copy of the lie/loft chart that is provided with the club. That way you can see in advance what options you have.
The head is well constructed, easy to adjust, and shows no signs of loosening after three rounds. I would buy another in a minute, but might consider going to an 8 degree to gain more options. By the way, my playing partners joke (I think) about this being an illegal club because my driving has improved so much.

I built this driver for my father. It is a GREAT driver. Not only does it have the adjustable angle technology, it is one of the best feeling drivers my father and I have hit. I built the white True Speed driver for myself and it doesn't even compare to this one.
Again, the look, feel, playability, AND sound are perfect with this driver. I'm jealous that I built this one for my dad instead of me!Playability Feel Price/Value - Great distance and feel!

I decided to replace my aging SMT Deep Bore with a new club and after trying an R9 at the golf shop, I placed my order for this Head. Used a UST Irod Shaft, stiff flex and Winn grip. Left it a little long (47") so I could custom fit it. After about 2 balls I knew I had a winner! I am getting 10-15 yards longer on the average over my old driver but, even better I am Much straighter with it. Easy to get used to and You can still move the ball ( draw or fade ) if you need to.
