I just want to chime in as to the quality of these shafts. I ordered a set of 7 shafts. These are a clubmaker's dream. All 7 shafts were within 0.9 grams of each other and within 2 cpms of each other in frequency. This made my job much easier. Headweights that are 7g apart made for an almost perfect frequency slope without much nibbling at all. In fact, the only spec not in is the raw length of the shaft. They are 42 in. long, not 41" long. Perhaps a typo? Great quality for the money, no doubt.

I build custom clubs , for the last five years, built several sets for myself when I have a break in the winter. These shafts are the best I have tried, at any price, put them in my irons and hybrids. Yardage may be a little longer BUT the accuracy is EXCELLENT. I am glad I bought them. Feel is better by far.

The Mitsubishi/Rayon Kuro Kage 80 iron shaft is as good as graphite gets! This innovative shaft design would not have been technically possible as little as two or three years ago. The team of engineers at Mitsubishi/Rayon has found a way to create High Density Prepreg: A prepreg material with 15% more carbon fiber and much less resin (20% vs. 33%) than found in most shaft prepreg.
