- The best feeling most playable grip that will dramatically improve your game immediately!

This grip has a velvety suede type of feel that you'll instantly like.. After playing GolfPride grips for approximately the past 50 years along with grips by Lamkin and Star, I believe this is the best grip for the price and value, period. With this grip you'll immediately notice that you won't be holding it anywhere as tight and/or firm as you have in the past with any other grip you've played. That is an excellent attribute because it's what PGA teaching professionals have tried to instill in us for years is to not hold the grip tightly. If you are wrestling with arthritis or another hand(s) issue this grip is a godsend. Or maybe your hands aren't as strong as when you were younger, or maybe you're a kid or a teenager just picking up this game. This grip will help everyone with the proper grip pressure no matter what size you choose. It comes in all sizes. Because this grip has a soft velvety almost suede like texture and feel it really helps with feeling your shots around the greens and gives you confidence with all of your clubs because you have better feel and the proper grip pressure. From a playability factor standpoint this grip is an excellent choice. It's not gimmicky or an advertising billboard for the manufacturer like some (GP) do. This is an honest to goodness little known secret in golf. Nothing else compares, not even close. The Winn Excel is excellent!
