Awesome
These are the fairway woods I personally use. They are long accurate and have a great feel. I use the DTG ultralight shaft with these to give a head a better feel with a higher launch.

The best for the $$$$, Go out & Rock'em!
My Golf Buddy made a set (3 & 5 fairway wood) of these up & I hit them. I couldn't beleive how far i hit them. I built mine with the FGS graphite shafts & Winn Grips Dri-Tac's grips. I had never built a golf club before these. It's so much easier than I thought. Basically you have to tip the Shaft for the desired flex (ie: Stiff - Regular - Firm Flex etc.) Tipping chart "L" for these clubs, then you glue the head to the shaft. Its important to mix the epoxy properly or the bond may not hold. Then trim the top of the club to desired length. Most Fairway woods are about 43 inches. I took 2 inches off the top to fit me, I'm 5'10". Then use what ever grip you want. Ive used the $1.00 DTG grips before They were nice & tacky. Good Luck!

REALLY great club/company
Recently purchased the turner lpt fairway wood (16.5*) and hybrid (18*). I am a 1.2 index and have played in several ametuer events. I admit i was "just winging" it when i decided to buy a clone club. I ask alot of my clubs and couldnt believe what these could do. I paired them with and Aldila nv x flex and they absolutely kill the ball. I will say that you can definately "over work" the ball with them though. But, man are these things long!! Finish is very nice and looks just as good as any club. Def happy with them and the customer service at dtg is incredible! Great people, Great clubs, Great service.

Great fairways
I purchased the +3, 4, and 7 fairways and shafted all three with Grafalloy Prolaunch shafts. I use the +3 strictly off the tee, and it is almost as long as my driver (Adams 9088 UL). The 4 and 7 are easy to get up in the air off the deck. I built all 3 for less than one TM RBZ, and these perform great. You can't go wrong with the LPTs, especially at this price.

Not Impressed
I have a 3+,purchased years ago from DTG which is not low-profile so I ordered the 3+ LPT and put the same shaft I have in my 5 wood. The feel was not good and the distance was not good so this club is now stored away. This was actually the worst feeling 3 wood I have ever built.
Until I find a low-profile 3+,I will hit my current 3+ only on an excellent lie and use my 5 wood the rest of the time.

Great Value
I bought this head based purely on the looks and a few reviews I had come across on a golf forum, all of which were positive. I have to say it's better than advertised. The head looks so good in person, before I got to hit it, a fellow range goer had it out of my bag waggling it and hit it before me! I believe he is headed out to get one as well! I shafted mine with a DG X100 shaft as I have been on a steel kick and it is an absolute rocket launcher. I am a hard swinger and usually struggle with too much spin and higher launch angles, this combo took care of that for me, just a great launch and spin profile, I dropped 2 balls at 255 in the fairway today and knocked both of them OVER the green. I haven't carried a 3 wood in years because I would get the miracle shot, followed by a months worth of shots that made me question why I had it with me. This one looks to have changed that. I like the size, it's awesome off the tee and just as good for me out of the fairway. Just pick a shot and hit it. The head feels hot, if not a little hard, the ball just jumps out there. I would suggest anybody give these a whirl and see for yourself. At 1/8th the cost of the big name counterpart, you still get 100% of the performance.

Great club
One of my playing buddies wanted a strong 3 wood, I built the LPT for him with a Grafalloy AMP stiff shaft which i spine alighned. After playing today I must say he is very very very happy, he was hitting it betwen 250 and 260 everytime plus it made me feel god to have built the club he absolutly loves. Diamond Tour once again proved they have top of the line products DTG get ready for more business from me because according to my friend everyone in our part of South Carolina is going to know how great the club is...Thanks DTG

omg
the new lpt fairway clubs really smoke a ball. i have two buddies who want them asap.the flight is high/boring/long/rolling. technology has shined a bright light on this design. don't wait or spend your money on rbz, these are the same thing only cost effective. i put a nvs shaft in mine and they really rock. just go for it

Best Fairway Woods I've Ever Hit
I bought the 3,4 and 5 woods. With many 3 woods I have trouble getting the ball elevated off the turf, so just in case I also bought the 4 wood. The first time I tried these clubs out, I was on the first hole of my local muni - a 520 yard par 5 INTO a 10-15 mph breeze - being anxious to try the new clubs out I dropped a ball on the ground and hit the 3 wood from the tee. One more 3 wood hit later I was about 10 yards from the green! The 3 wood gets the ball up in the air, but with a very penetrating trajectory that just pierces the wind. And the 5 wood is amazing - when teed up I can blast a majestic, high straight shot that goes about 240 - perfect for short narrow par-4's. The 5 wood is great off the turf also from 215-235 yards. This weekend I played two rounds and I was able to get on a par 5 green in 2 each round. Previously this is something I would do maybe once every10 rounds. I love the way these clubs look and the way they feel setting up to the ball. In just 3 rounds playing these woods my confidence and results when playing 210+ yards from the green is soaring. These woods play 10-15 yards longer and are easier to hit and straighter than my previous woods. I swear the faces of these clubs feel springy, like a good driver hit feels. I wouldn't bother with the 4 wood - with the way the 5 wood and 3 wood perform, there isn't a need for a club between the two - though it is a great club also.

Excellent
I received my LPT FW about a three weeks ago. my initial impression was favorable, but I wanted to play multiple rounds with it to be certain.

Now the verdict is in: awesome.

From the tee, this club is impressive. 260-270 yards with great control.

Where it truly shines is from the fairway or light rough. I have yet to hit anything under 245 yards, straight down the middle with this FW.

Details

The Turner LPT (Launch Pad Technology) Fairway Wood is designed to hit the golf ball longer, higher and straighter. The "Velocity T-Slot" in the sole improves ball speed dramatically for more distance by increasing the rebound effect or COR of the face. A rear weight screw helps to optimize the low center of gravity and the ultra thin steel face combines for a higher launch and more distance. The white crown and black club face improves confidence at address and looks great in the bag. If you are looking for the ultimate in fairway wood technology, look no further than the Turner LPT.
