bad craftmanship

Good driver but not at all durable. I have gone through two of these in 3 months. Both of them cracked on the top. I had the same problem with other Turner heads. Best to not waste the money on them.

A big jump in distance
-
I'm 75 with a 12 handicap and I've lost a lot of distance in the last few years. I tried this club head in the 12.5 deg loft, FGS Tour Launch 50 shaft, A-Flex, assembled at 45.5 inches and a D3. It is a big winner for me. I believe I've gained 30 yards. It feels like the ball just rockets off the face when I hit it. And for some reason, I seem to hit the ball near the center of the club face every time. In spite of the ultra-large size appearance at address, I can work the ball draw of fade. Amazing.

Excellent Value - Great Performance
-
I replaced my Taylormade TP with the 10.5* head paired with a Grafalloy Platinum Senior flex shaft and gained about 15-20 yards on my average drives. Great pop off the driver head with accuracy as well. Don't see how you can go wrong with this driver-just get the shaft that fits you.

Very Pleased
-
Have tried quite a few driver head/shaft combinations in the last year trying to gain some extra yards. Guys I play with are usually 10/15 yards longer than me. They have a good time poking fun at me for the many driver options I try.
Put this head on a UST V2 65 gram R flex shaft - After three rounds, it's made a difference. I 've knocked off at least half (maybe more) of the distance I was behind. Different game now. Not exactly making $$ on the Sunday bets but I'm keeing my wallet at the same level.

Long but not durable
-
I purchased this head in a 9.5 loft. I matched it with the with the FGS Ultralite 60 X-flex shaft. The driver was one of the longest and most forgiving drivers I have ever played. The problem I had with the head was that after about 10 rounds, the face began to dent and the ball became uncontrollable. This the first time I have ever had a problem with any DT components and they replaced it without question. I believe this was an isolated problem so you can't go wrong with this head.

Details
The Turner Ablaze True Speed Driver offers a new aerodynamic design that helps to increase club head speed. The low center of gravity combined with the tri-cut crown becomes the perfect recipe for a high launch, low spin combination that will deliver more distance. The beta titanium face incorporates variable face thickness that springs the ball to the maximum USGA limit. If you are looking for a driver that provides playability, length and forgiveness this is the perfect design for your game.
