Great design and look
This iron head has forgiveness, feel, awesome appearance, and sets up well at address. Being a club maker for the last 26 years, I highly recommend it, especially for the golfer who wants a unique look.

TR 950...great iron!
All told I have purchased and/or built four sets of TR 950 irons and I feel they one of the best iron DT has sold. My only issue was and still is with the black finish which comes off but does not impact how these clubs play. Even though DT replaced my first set as soon as I returned them it concerns me that no steps were taken by DT to correct the issue of the finish coming off. I purchased wedges with a black finish from another company and the finish on those wedges looks almost the same as when they were new. Point being...these is a way to have a black finish without it coming off.

Solid Irons for mid-low handicapper
Assembled the 4-pw with Rifle 5.0 shafts .Clubs have good feel and balls spin adequately. Black finish wears immediately after the first round in contact areas . Be prepared for that. My buddy is a scratch golfer and he hit the 5 iron better than his 5 iron of his Clevleand TA 7 tour irons. This is not a club for slicers as the moderate offset will not be adequate. But for the mid to low handicapper these are an intriguing set of irons if you dont mind the wear on the finish .

Really Great Club Head
I was looking for a nice club head for an advanced player having a low offset and a narrow sole. My customer needed a harder 431 stainless for his comfort zone, so I bought theses for myself to try out first. I built a 7 - AW and gave them a tryout. These heads have a very nice feel and good feedback. It still feels like you hit the sweet spot even if you catch one off the toe. I was quite impressed with how well they played, and how consistent and straight they were, even with that occasional miss-hit. The black color will wear though, and that is the only reason I gave them 4 stars on the value. The other nice thing about this set is that the AW has nearly the same bounce as the PW and that was a nice plus. Even after showing how they would wear to my customer he asked me to build him a set anyway. He loves them, and they have been a great game improvement for him. If you can live with a little color wear over time, then by all means get these, because they are a great advanced players head!

Nice Irons
This is a followup to m previous review. I have now been able to get out and play two 18 hole rounds. The first was a struggle because of cold and wind (42 degrees with 15 mph winds.) The last was a 65 degree day and the results were much better. I shot a 77 at a course that usually gives me troubles. These irons really get the ball up easy and the reduced offset really makes it easy to hit what I'm aimed at. They are longer as I should in my last review hitting off mats. Well, that carried outside and stayed about the same. Basically a 5 yard increase, but the more important fact was the irons seemed to have a nice consistent distance between them. The also had purchased the AW separately and it makes a nice sand wedge. All in all, with the Harrison Professional firm shafts on these they were well worth the $225.00 I spent.

Nice Irons
I purchased these and took them out today to the driving range. It was about 16 degrees and we just had about 10 inches of snow in Wisconsin.

These irons are beautiful to look at and I was anxious to try them. I hit them off of mats and rubber tees because that is all we have now. The distance was about the same as my other irons into a light wind so I am guessing I am getting 4-6 yards more with a 7 iron (not sure how the cold affected distance). I am 59 (6-handicap) years old and this iron was going 145-148 into a 3-6 mile an hour wind. More importantly the accuracy was there. The low offset on the lower irons allows me go right at the target. Much better than my last set which had way too much offset. The progressive offset still gives you the offset you might want or need in the 4 and 5 irons. I went with the Harrison Professional shafts in a firm and I was a little bit worried. I was thinking I should have gotten the Dynamic Gold R300, however the Harrisons worked quite well and I am very satisfied with their performance. I'll have to wait 4-6 weeks to know how well they work on grass, but I don't expect it will be much different.
