The Legend is Back! SMT Golf has been reborn through a joint venture between SMT Golf and Diamond Tour Golf and it’s just as good as you remember. The New 2014 SMT AF 460 is engineered with one thought in mind, DISTANCE. This is achieved by applying 2 different technologies for one great outcome. The first is to utilize the air pressure inside of the driver. The internal bladder seals in 8 pounds of stabilized pressure which pushes the spring effect on the entire face to the absolute edge of the USGA regulations. Also, by utilizing EET Face Technology, the SMT AF 460 greatly expands the playability of the driver and makes this model super forgiving and extremely long. Normally when a driver is miss-hit, the “spring effect” is diminished. But with EET face technology, the driver will react more like a perfect center strike. Combining these technologies essentially makes the entire face a hot spot for bombing the driver.
- Due to the unique construction of the head the actual loft is .5 degrees stronger to make it perform true to the loft that is indicated on the head.

Best I've hit my driver in 20 years. Not only has it added 15-20 yards, I just played 18 and only missed 1 fairway. 265 down the middle every time.

I actually picked up a used 12* and it is longer than anything out there. Mine sits just a little open, which isn't ideal for me, but I just shut the face a little and let it fly. It takes off like a rifle shot and is loud. An awesome head.

Bought this head and mated it to Fujikara blur 005 xstiff shaft. Used same shaft and mated it to Big Bang 450cc head. Side by side at the range the SMT was longer, straighter, and more consistent. Best driver I have hit. Big Bang 450 cc was pretty good, but outclassed by the SMT. Went for these two heads because they are neutral (not closed). SMT with Fuji shaft is an excellent combo highly recommended especially with the shaft being on sale for 25 bucks.

I have been buying from DTG for a few years now and I have always been 100% satisfied. I am a USGTF Golf Instructor and do get PUD Discounts from all of the major manufacturers yet I always come back to DTG. I choose to play their OEM Clubs (PI-25) and Drivers as well when at all possible. This leads me to my review of the SMT 460c Driver - Dude let me say this....as someone who fell in love with the old "RED" SMT 455 Deep Bore....this SMT 460C Driver is a BEAST and is the ONLY driver I will ever use (means you all better not discontinue it..lol)...
I am averaging drives of 295 yards with extreme consistency, working also with the trend for a higher loft of 10.5...It is simply amazing. I highly RECOMMEND IT !Feel Price/Value Playability - better than the OEM's

I have been playing golf for more than 60 years and assembling clubs for more than 40 years. I have used SMT heads many times. This one is as good as it gets. Assemble it with the Nanotech shaft to 44.5 inches and swingweight it to D1 and you will a winner

Assembled the SMT driver 10.5 degrees with the FGS 45 gram shaft regular. It really works! About 10 to 15 yard improvement. Really happy that SMT is back in business. Real Quality. I have been assembling clubs for more than 30 years...this is a winner

I had been hitting the SMT 455 Deep Bore which was the best driver I had ever used. This new AF 460 is at least 20 yards longer. Best driver I have ever hit. I am a 10 handicapper.
