Good value
I read the latest comment and would like to precise something regarding the distance:
Be carefull , the loft of these clubs are quite open (high). Nowadays it is comon to minimize the loft to increase the distance for the same club.
For exanple, PW is now 45/44° and the H Hatton PW is 48°
I have played these clubs for one season, left them for a couple of year and came back to them this year. I put back in my bag the PW 9 and 8 as i loved them for the short game. I combine them with standard Taylor Made and due to the loft, I have 2x 8 iron.
The only "problem" is the offset witch i founded to important.

Disappointed...Beware...
I purchased my set of Henry Hatton clubs about 2 years ago (March 2013) based on the recommendation of a close friend and advanced golfer. My friend highly recommended these clubs because of the quality, price and overall playability. I been playing golf for about 15 years and decided to retire my King Cobra clubs for these Henry Hatton's with the True Temper shafts.

Here is the truth about the clubs:
1. Club heads are poorly made - upon receipt of the clubs I noticed that all of the club heads were different shades of black/gray. I contacted Diamond Tour and they gave me a credit I could use to another club. I know this doesn't effect the playability; but it's weird having a set of mismatching clubs. Additionally, some of my club heads are now rusted even though I clean and dry them after every use.
2. Lack of distance - I get about 20 yards less distance on each club. I thought it was my swing and tried other clubs to see how I hit the ball. I tried Callaway XHot2's, Titleist and Pings with the same exact result.
3. Accuracy - The clubs are very accurate when you hit them perfectly. There is no room for error so you should be advanced to play these clubs.

Overall, beware because you get what you pay for with these clubs. I would honestly spend a little more for quality name brand clubs (which is what I am going to do now). Good luck.

Great Value and Great Service
About 8 years ago I purchased a set of Henry Hatton combo irons. The clubs were better than I was a golfer. They forced me to improve my game. Last year the time had come to purchase a new set. I went to the local club house that sells all brands and has an outdoor range for testing clubs before purchase. After about two hours hitting all the new clubs and top brands I walked out without purchasing anything. None of the clubs had the soft, buttery feel of my forged Henry Hatton combo set. I have played them another year, but finally broke down and purchase this set of cavity back irons three weeks ago. I have only been to the range, the weather has been poor, but my initial time on the range was encouraging, this new set has the same soft feel as my previous set. My experience is that these clubs hit as well as the best sets on the market. I prefer their feel and performance to sets of clubs that cost 4 to 5 times the price.

The only reason for marking a 4 on playability is I have not played a round with the set.

When I purchased the clubs I wanted some custom features that the website did not offer. I put in the purchase and emailed customer service with the custom requests. I received a prompt response and the clubs were fitted in the manner I had requested. It took less than two days to fill the order before shipping even with the custom order.

This is my second purchase from DTG and I highly recommend the product and their service.

Wow ... 'nuff said
I was skeptical about purchasing clubs over the internet, even more so about purchasing a non-name brand I had never heard of, without hitting them first. I opted for a 7i and it was shipped to me in 4 days. I was completely amazed. I called one week later and ordered the rest of my set. These are the smoothest clubs I have ever hit. I wish my Cobras were this good. My buddy that builds clubs and loves Titleist and Ping is going to be converted when he feels these. Truly a well designed head, and combined with the correct shaft they are sniper accurate. The lofts are a degree or two higher than my Cobra I/m 2100, but the 5yrds in distance is easily made up in the accuracy. AMAZING CLUBS!! If you're doubting, have one built and try them. It's worth the effort to swing it.

excellent clubs
I recently got these irons from a local builder who put titleist shafts and grips on them. First time at the range I noticed how great they feel and how I can work the ball left and right now. I love the feedback I get from them. I know immediately if I miss hit. I went from using the DT Grand Hawks to these. In the couple of weeks I've had them, I have hit more GIR than before. Don't be fooled into thinking because they're not name brand, that they cant be good. My golf buddy I play with regulary uses only Taylormade. ...he cannot beat me at all. I don't know if I will ever play anything other than DTG from now on.

great feel and distance control
I really like the response i get in my hands with my shots. Great shots have never felt so good! The 3 and 4 iron get better distance than i expected. And i love the thin top line. I'm able to control my ball flight very easily. And still generate enough spin to hold the green. Of course adjusting the length and customizing the shaft flex to my preference was very important!!!! the best club in the world with the wrong length and flex will be worthless most of the time. Overall great irons, great feel and length.
