I am a single handicap golfer and wanted to give clones a try. I can say without a doubt that these irons are as solid and generate as much feel as I have ever had in name brand irons. I am so happy I went this direction and saved a ton of money.

I got the clubs a few weeks ago. The feel from the club is great. I have been hitting some really nice straight shots. I have a tendency to fade the ball and it has cut down on that. I still have a slight fade but that is just my mechanics. The only down side to the clubs that I have found in just a month is they have a gun metal finish and it rubs off. My sand wedge has been in the trap only a few times and it has already started to rub the finish off. Not really happy about that. Overall good clubs but they should have stayed with the stainless finish.

These do hit like the Callaways. The secret is to put good shafts and grips in them. Then, you will not know the difference !!!

Couldn't be happier. I have made a few sets from DTG and they just keep getting better. I have hit these against the Callaways and there is no difference.

I hit the Callaway X-24 Hot's on a indoor simulator and couldn't believe the increased distance. I was hitting a 7 iron about 170 yds (normal for me is around 150), just to make sure it wasn't the simulator I grabbed a different 7 iron and hit it about 150, so I was sure that it was the technology of the club that was increasing the distance. I saw the clones at DTG and have always bought from DTG and even though I was a little wary of buying a clone of this technology since it just seemed impossible to replicate on a clone, I went ahead and purchased the 3h,4h, and 5-PW. THE BALL JUMPS OFF OF THE FACE! This club is incredible; hits smooth, very lightweight, and will give you an incredible amount of confidence. I cranked my PW 135 yds on my first swing! if you're looking to add distance this is what you want in the bag.

Details
The Grand Hawk XP-29 iron has perimeter weighting that has been maximized to improve the moment of inertia (MOI). This improvement allows for more forgiveness on off-center strikes. Although the XP-29 has game improvement features, the center fo gravity position has been designed to generate the optimal ball-flight trajectory. Its classic shape has a slightly thinner topline than most game imrpovement irons, yet still incorporates a large sweet spot for improved playability and forgiveness to attack any pin on the course. A great design for all playing levels.
