I have been playing the 3 hybrid 19degree with a grafaloy axis in regular flex for a season. The distance is shorter by 20yards than my 4iron 21degree. This was disappointing. The shaft feels uncapable to me. The head sounds like a dud even when struck well. Passed it around at the range and every else had the same opinion, short carry, medium low trajectory, almost no shot shaping. It does give a dead straight flight.

I bought these (4-7) hybrid heads to replace the store bought Nickents I had. So far they seem to have less feed back than the Nickents and with shorter heads (top to bottom, not heel to toe) I have topped them on hits a lot more. With that said they do play quite well and get the ball up in the air almost as good as the Nickents. I used a UST shaft similar to the UST used in the Nickents; a mid bend point graphite 70 gram shaft. I spline aligned these where I did not with the off the shelf Nickents. These do seem to hit more neutral (straight) where the nickents had a tendency to draw on every hit especially in the 6 hybrid. As I play these I will continue to get use to the shorter heads and reduced or different feedback. I think the biggest feedback difference is in the sound of the hit. These are quieter than the Nickents. Had I never owned the Nickents, I would think these were the best clubs since peanut butter was created. They most definitely hit easier than long irons and do give better feedback with less harshness than long irons. All in all worth the purchase.
