- Excellent Putter for me

Ordered this head maybe 2 months ago and matched it with a shaft out of a "Heavy" putter and a mid-sized "Shark" grip. The total weight of this putter is probably 50% heavier than a standard putter. I immediately noticed better consistency and more made putts from 3 - 6 feet. Distance control on lag putts also improved. Two weeks ago I decided to replace the grip with a "Super-Stroke 3.0" size grip. All I can say now is WOW. I think I finally hit the jackpot for feel, alignment, and consistency. Am very confident over the 6 footers now and distance control on lags is great! I'm leaving over 90% of my 20+ footers within 2 feet. I have actually holed more of the 20+ footers in the last two weeks than I have in the past year without any 3-putts so far. Whether it's the putter head, the shaft, the grip, the total club weight, or all of the above combined........ This setup has really been working for me. Thanks DTG.

I usually don't write reviews on clubs but I feel I need to on this putter head. I've alwas had issues with 3-5 foot puts and keeping them online. Since building this putter and playing with it 4 rounds I no longer have this problem. The weight distribution on this head is great and it really keeps the putter on line with where I am aiming. 2 of my last three rounds have resulted in 28 putts. My average putts per round has been between 32-33. This putter works for me.
Price/Value Playability Feel - but for cosmetics, would have been 5 stars

First off let me say that the price on this putter head is just great! I was mildly surprised this morning when I received the clubhead in the mail, that the paint finish was atrocious. there was white overspray on the black portions , and the black on the wings had been smeared. Also, there were several places near the face where the masking tape that must have been used for painting had been badly cut, making uneven, jagged lines in the two-tone finish and at the face itself. Add to that, the difference in paints. some of the head was painted in a nice smooth matte black, while other parts were in a very rough texture white matte finish, almost feeling like an orangepeel finish on the walls in my house.. all in all, I was very disappointed in the appearance of this putter head. Fast forward to the assembly.. I assembled this putter to the standard 35 inch spec and use a Black Widow Signature putter grip, and after set up time, took it out to try a few putts, and was immediately impressed by the sound off the milled face, and the excellent weight and balance. Despite the appearance blemishes, this one is going to be a keeper. It weighs a bit more than my Inazone B-Line and my wife's Ping Scottsdale Senita, but after a few putts I didn't even notice the weight difference. The difference in the feel between the Dagger and putters with an insert just has to be experienced. Even on the softest tap-ins, the milled face just feels more firm and confident, unlike many value line putters whose inserts give a softer feel, the Dagger's milled face gave me a much better feel for distance control and let me know unquestionably about a mishit.
All in all, this is an excellent putter, especially for the price. With excellent weight and balance, it's milled face, and outstanding accuracy, this one is a keeper, and the aggressive design adds that coolness factor to my bag. Unfortunately it was obviously hand painted, and it shows. Hopefully it was a one time thing with just my head and won't be a problem for other customers.
