- excellent clubs for the price.
I purchased these last year September 2015. I had not played golf for about 3 years before this purchase. When I used to play I used just regular old set golf clubs nothing fancy. I am very happy with their distance and accuracy. they look great and feel great. these clubs grooves are very sharp and I tare up my golf balls because of this. I mean they put some serious spin on the ball. It's kinda funny because after a really good strike the ball looks like a human head with a spiked haircut that stop's on a dime when landing on the green. They have some weight to them so the club's really do the work for you as they were designed. Just put a good strike on the ball and these clubs will not fail you. Now go ahead and grab for yourself, it's well worth the price and you will not be disappointed.

- Great Clubs, Great Price
First off, let me say that I bought golf clubs from DTG 7 years ago, and they served me incredibly well. That is what brought be back this time around. I purchased these clubs a couple of weeks ago and finally got out to play them this weekend. They hit great, they feel great, and they a really consistent across clubs.
One thing that is really remarkable is that these clubs are build nearly identical to the clubs I bought 7 years ago, very little variation over that much time tells me that they are still building clubs the same way with the same quality control. I will certainly purchase all my clubs from DTG in the future.
If you are considering buying golf clubs, shop here first. They hit just as well as name brand clubs at a fraction of the cost, and that is with customization!

- Very nice and comparable to TM RSI
Have been playing these a lot since I got them 6 months ago. Very nice feel and is pretty decent in terms of forgiveness. I paired them with the DTG steel 123g stiff shafts and boy are they pretty heavy overall. Bought them knowing very little about the game, the clubs, the swing etc. Was always just going to the range to hit balls in the past. Now I'm really into it. Always practicing and stuff so I have figured out that I should have gone with maybe regular flex shafts or maybe even graphite and leave the weight to be in the head mostly. But anyway, I took couple clubs to Roger Dunn to hit side by side with the TM RSI irons. And I was super surprised that the comparable clubs were turning out comparable distances. So big thumbs up in that regard. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with these clones and don't think I plan on ditching them just yet. Maybe might just change the shafts.

- You get what you pay for
First off, let me start by saying the processing and shipping was quick. The clubs were assembled very well and the DTG shaft in stiff fills pretty good. I am coming from playing older muscle back blades which I absolutely love when I am playing well, but when I am not striking the ball I have a horrible time with yardages. These clubs are easy to hit and are about a club longer than my mb blades. I typically hit my 8 iron about 160, with these my 8 was about 175 with the same ball flight. My only disappointment was to see that the "Slot" technology in the Turner's were just groves that were painted and not truly cut through slots filled with polymer like the clubs Turner tries to clone. Overall a pretty solid cavity back with a chunky sole. For the price I am not upset but be warn the "slot technology" is not there.

- Great Irons and Wedges
First off, I cannot say enough about the price and the build time. I got it in about a week from order to arrival. When they came, they were just breathtaking to look at. I know that golf clubs are meant to be used and functionality is the main goal, but I have to say that there were beyond beautiful. Next, let's explore the feel of the clubs. These do not get the recoil of a standard set of irons or wedges. It gives to the feel of hitting the ball, but does not have a recoil the hits your hands at all. It is as smooth to hit as anything. I'd compare the feel to hitting the ball with a fairway wood, not as smooth as a driver, but still plenty smooth. The main thing that I noticed was how much these irons bite onto the ball. This really gives to the ability to shape your shot and get more accuracy in your swings. This also really explains the next part as well; the added distance. I took these to the driving range for a test and found that the distance is overwhelming. I was getting more distance that another golfer was using my 6 iron than he did on his driver, which was a Callaway RAZR X. I was easily hitting over 250 yards with this. My 3 iron was hitting what my longer drives with my Taylormade Jetspeed driver does, about 300+ yards. Then I tried my lob wedge. A lob wedge is supposed to be between 50 to 90 yards on average for a golfer. Not this one, I was getting between 110 to 125 here. I was even hitting a few out about 150 yards. These are a must buy for any golfer. If you want accuracy, feel, loft, distance, and look, these are the ones for you.

DetailsThe Turner TS-5 irons are designed with max forgiveness and distance as the primary focus. The “Dual Undercut” technology on the sole and the face on this iron series allow for maximum playability even when you miss the sweet spot. The advanced ultra-thin steel face allows golfers to get maximum ball speeds while still having an outstanding feel. This is a great design for all levels of golfers.
