What is Shaft Bend Point?

Bend point/flex point is best described as the distribution of flex throughout the shaft. A low bend is described as being butt firm and tip flexible, mid bend point is butt and tip medium and a high bend point is butt flexible and tip firm. The lower the bend point the higher the shot while the higher bend point will result in a lower ball flight.

Bend point is a function of feel. A low bend point works for golfers who want to feel the clubhead more in the swing. A mid or high bend point is for the golfer that wants a firm feel at impact or has strong downswing acceleration.
