Great players iron
These irons are fantastic for the advanced player that doesnt want to play "brand name" clubs... Ther's hardly any offset and a narrow sole and the finish is really nice. I got the irons bent upright 2.5* locally without any problem. usually the bending machine mars the finish but these look perfect. I put rifle shafts in them and they fell great hitting balls on the range. It's Jan in Wisconsin so only one outdoor range here....

ok. everyone was right
Too bad these are being "reduced". These heads are everything everyone has said and more. Diamond Tour has a winner here. I'm sad I didn't pull the trigger and buy these sooner. Long high and straight. Currently battling a hard hook. I can now move the ball. Very crisp feel. Ball stops when called to do that. Just took them out today for the first time. No lie I went under par. Hit 7 of 9 greens on the nine I played. The two I missed were on the edge because I was aligning for the hook. These irons shaved 5 strokes easy. If you are a lower handicap, move quickly and get these heads. I've bought heads here before. Everything has been great. Going to look at a hybrid and fairways next.

Great players club
If you're a better player that likes to work the ball, these are what you're looking for. These are the irons I've been using for about a year now and still love em. Plays like a mizuno iron. Doesn't feel like a forged iron but does feel soft. Easy to work the ball. Long irons are forgiving. And the black finish has minimal wear, and like I said, I've been beating them for a year now. Can't say enough about these irons, they are one of my favorites and a surprise I could find a true players club from diamond tour. Thanks for the recommendation guys!

Excellent club heads for most players
Assembled these clubs last thanksgiving and finally got to hit then outside yesterday. Miserable winter here in ohio. I decided to use the diamond tour stepless shafts. Excellent combination. First time outside with these clubs I managed to hit 7 of 9 greens and every shot felt solid despite a few toe shots that still managed to find the green. I would recommend these as comparable to any pro line irons out there in the market. Heads are great and shaft is in my opinion the engine of the golf club. The stepless shaft is a good one to pair with these heads. Little bit of marring from loft lie machine but that only reminds me they are set where I need them. Give them a try if you want to try something great. I am on a budget and even if I wasn't I would still choose these over pro line. I love how they play and look. Black irons look great to my eye.

Unbelievable
I was looking to move into a players iron this year. I don't get the chance to play much, but I hit the ball well and was not able to move the ball with my older irons. I talked to a colleague who recommended I look at some of the "off brands" or non-commercial type clubs. He is a seasoned mechanical engineer and scratch golfer. He said some of the clone clubs are just as good or better than the "brand name" clubs because they redesign them to increase the playability. And they are MUCH cheaper. We narrowed the field to three companies and I bought a 7 iron from the top two. Wow was he right!! All I can say is these clubs are amazing. I would have not believed it if I hadn't hit it myself. I had my set built with the Harrison Pro shafts, standard lie, length, etc. The fellow I spoke with on the phone was a great help and recommended the shaft.
My buddies with $1500 titleists pings, etc are blown away. These hit so smooth and fly so well, they are incredible. They are amazed at how well I can fade/draw almost any shot and hoe smooth these clubs feel. I will always buy my irons from Diamond Tour (if I ever need new ones :0) ... getting me to give these up would be impossible!!).

WOW!!!
Okay I found these clubs by chance, and fell in love with the looks. After years of playing blades my ball striking is better than most. I hit my Titleist 7 iron 187 on avg. I ordered the 7 iron with a DGT smoke shaft stiff flex, with DGT mid-size red and black grip, bent -2*, and 1/2 in long. This club looks better than anything I've seen, black on black with a thin top line looks great at address and in the bag. I took it to the range and aimed for the 190 flag, then flew the 210 flag with a tight draw, and my normal shape is a super high fade. After choking down a tad and swinging smoothly I hit 10 balls. 3 hit the 200 flag (and yes I had alignment aids down), 1 was short and right, while the rest were between 190-200 and less than 10 yards left. The rest of the range session went about like that. Even when I started hitting off the toe the flight wasn't changed but the feel was gone. The flight was still very high but not ballooning, and the feel wasn't my blades, but the only cast club I've hit that felt this good was the old Cleveland TA5's.
Bottom line if you want fitted clubs, and are below a 10 handicap give these a shot. After a year of looking hitting everything I could find, I ordered these as soon as I got back from the range. Great looks, feel, and playability.

R U KIDDING ME!
Just shot my 1ST 32 (par 35). Had these irons 3 weeks (10 - 9 hole rounds) and shot 2 rounds under par. My dad's favorite saying was (god bless his sole) "If you want to be a better putter hit it closer to the hole". Had my old irons for 5 seasons and I have been looking at these irons for months. These are awesome! I am a 2 hadicap at my club and wanted to get a players set of irons. The little offset and thinner line is just perfect. The feel of a good shot is there when you hit it. You need to try these out.........$90 dollars are you kidding me!

Back in black
I returned to playing these irons after shelving them in favor of some 431 SGI cavity backs early this year. I had no idea that I'd missed these irons so much until now.

Everything I've been missing out on these last nine months has returned: feedback, the ability to shape shots, predictable distance, spin, and last but not least the incredible feel and sound of well struck shots.

Once again, well done, DTG.

Exactly what I was looking for
I was having a hard time with my blades about a year ago and decided to try something with some game improvement qualities. I went too far. Assembled some Acer XF Pros, very solid and very long but I lost a lot of the feel I had with my blades and the offset though minimal (4.5 mm for the 3 iron) made it hard to work the ball left to right. I then looked around for something in between and decided on these. Great choice. I have trusty DG S300s in these and they seriously workable and really soft. I honestly can't tell the difference between hitting the sweet spot with these vs my forged blades. The cool thing though, they are more forgiving than the blades because they are cavity backs and have a larger head. Played a par 4 today, blocked the 3 iron a little right about 225 and had 175 left up the hill with a tree on the right. The shot called for a fade, I chose 7 iron. Pulled it off perfectly. These clubs have no noticeable offset at address, they play like players clubs but have just enough game improvement qualities built in so that us weekend warriors with kids and no time to practice, can still get out and enjoy all aspects of the game. Jeff was very helpful and patiently answered all of my questions, even though it was the weekend. Did I mention how sweet they look in my bag? OMG. Got some black and red Winn grips, unbelievable...

Excellent Value
Had these clubs built by Diamond Tour and they came out really nice. The lengths were perfect and all the grips were on straight. These have a nice topline on them, not too thick, and are a little oversized compared to a blade style clubhead. Really nice rounded soles with not too much bounce. These are very playable with a super feel. If you are looking for a slightly oversized head without alot of offset in the hosel, these will fit the bill. They are as long as any iron I have hit, and the misses are still good. A great overall value.

tip trimmed kenetix STEPLESS shafts S+ flex (all but 1/2" to length)
on DTG's PI-25 iron heads OUTSTANDING combination!!

i play to an 8 handicap assembled these to replace my 25+ yr old of thrice handed down blades that just did'nt have much groove left.
CLASSIC shape/topline these play every bit as solid

no sting OR vibration on mishits
i'd recommend these to ANYONE eESPECIALLY the better player looking to replace their "long loved" blades.. but balking @ the COST of buy new blades. <than 150$ into assembling these.
i love these guys!! if i don't win again this year it won't be the clubs.... THANKS DTG!!

Incredibly Great Heads
As Cloran put it so nicely, these heads are under the radar, and are absolutely incredible in all aspects! Tiny offset, thin top-line, low bounce on the pitching & gap wedges, sharp looking, adjust like butter, and feel superb. I am a fitter/builder and have personally tried most of the OEM heads out there, as well as many of the name brands. These heads will rival ALL of them! I also liked the fact that they weighed in a little on the heavy side (none were under weight). I play a little heavier steel shaft and also like a little heavier swing weight... better control for my swing. Since using these I have hit more greens than ever before, and the control... well shaping a shot has never been easier! The low price per head also made me wonder at first, but I had been on a mission to find a really great advanced players head. After using these that search is really over!
Also, as for the AW and SW heads... well I had been using high spin bladed wedges for the last few years, but after using the AW and SW in this set I put the blades in the test rack! The spin with these will rival the blades, and the control is just as great, but the distance and accuracy with those full swing wedge shots were longer and better than the blades. The AW also had a lower than normal bounce (about 8* and about the same as the PW) which is a nice plus. There will be a little wear on the color over time, (a few scratches) but nothing too noticeable. This is by far one of the BEST advanced players heads I have ever used, and they will be in my bag (and many of my customers bags) for a long time to come! Thanks DTG, these heads are a job well done!

Severely under the radar!
I had been in the market for a nice player's cavityback iron head and it didn't take me long to find these, thankfully.

IMHO these are one of the most overlooked heads in the biz, bottom line. Don't confuse the other heads DTG sells with their OEM line, big mistake if you do. The PI-25s have a great look, wicked stealth color scheme, tiny tiny tiny offset, thin topline, great radiused sole, and a surprisingly soft feel... what's not to like?

All gushing aside, here's the bottom line. These heads stack up against ANY heads I have played in the past. My most recent gamer set was the world renowned, major championship winning, MP14s (I like "vintage" gear). The 14s are classics and I don't think there are many irons that can compare to their feel, but these actually come pretty close. That's some high praise for a non-forged iron head. On my personal softness scale (where MP14s or any Miura heads are ranked at a 10... and a cheap cast knockoff KMart special is a 1) I'd put the PI-25s at a solid 7.5-8.0. I was VERY impressed, and quite surprised actually, when I first hit them.

About 10 minutes after the heads arrived I started adjusting the lie angles to my specs, and I was a bit apprehensive at first; but these heads bend like buttah'... DTG says bending up to 3* is ok because they are cast with a soft metal, but I had zero problem moving them closer to 5* and 6*. I've bent (and broken) many cast clubs and these bend like forged, not cast. If I wasn't told they were cast I wouldn't believe it, seriously.

I measured all the gross weights, lofts, and lies; and the specs were within an accepted tolerance: +/- 1* on the lofts/lies and no head was lighter than the stated gross weight. The gram weights were between 0g-3g heavier, a GREAT thing for me personally as I like to play my irons -1/2" short and with heavier swingweights, D5 range. You can't get shorter irons to play heavier if the heads are light... sans tons of lead tape, tip weights, and lead powder anyhow.

If I had been given a demo set without knowing the price/head I would guess they were in the $25-$30 per head range. On par with other OEM designed component heads. The fact that these heads are 1/3 of that price is RIDICULOUS! I have one set built with DGS400 shafts and I'm contemplating building a few more sets just for fun... that's how underpriced they are. They are almost too cheap to be honest. The price put a tiny seed of doubt in my head regarding the quality. Thankfully I gave them a shot and didn't let my "if it's not expensive it must be junk" thinking get the best of me. I would have missed out on one of the most underrated, under the radar, unknown heads on the market today.

Kudos DTG... you did good with this one.

Feel like forged irons
I have played Mizuno forged irons for years. I thought it would be fun to build an entire set of irons and try them out. Well, to make a long story short, I just sold my Mizunos on Ebay. These irons are really good. They have a very forged feel to them, with excellent feedback. The distances are great because of the stronger lofts. The black finish looks great. I expect it to fade a bit over time, but I think that will make them look even better. If you are a serious player, try these out. You will be surprised.

Once you try black ...
I am fortunate enough to have played one of the first sets of this iron. I have assembled heads with FST 115 and 125, and Spectre Lite shafts in steel, and NanoPipe in graphite in order to evaluate this head's performance.

Some say that for performance, the ratio is 10% head, 90% shaft and for irons the ratio is more like 30/70.
This head upsets that formula somewhat as I have yet to find a shaft it does not work well with. The PI-25 flips that ratio to 70% head, 30% shaft, IMO.

The 304 stainless used in this iron feels as soft as forged for about 1/2 the price. The black finish on the soles and faces will achieve "character" over the course of rounds and practice. This is the best player's component iron in stainless I have ever tested, hands down, and is very close to the best, forged components.

Excellent value.
