I got this club with 52* of loft, the DT Lite shaft Stiff, and put a Black widow grip on it. The feel is the best i have ever felt on a wedge. The spin is incredible. It performs as well if not better than advertised and like I said this thing is spinny. my only complaint is that it doesn't go very far. I hit don't hit this club a lot further than my 56* (non-felon) wedge. however, I love this club.

These are phenominal wedges for what they are - an illegal club that makes it easy to spin the ball. Are they the best wedges on the planet? No, but they are pretty nice. Are they stupidly easy to spin the ball with? Absolutely! I've had friends use them who are beginner golfers, and they've been able to pull the ball back when it lands with these things. To the reviewer on 3/24 who stated he can't get spin on the ball with these - you must not know to hit a wedge correctly. And about the comment of the SW head being too heavy? The 56* head weighs 300g which is standard for a 56* head. No matter what brand, make, model, etc, a 56* wedge head is going to weight 300g (+/-2 grams). Maybe the shaft you got is too light, because that can make the head FEEL heavier because it increases the swingweight by shifting the balance point lower in the club. You should always use a heavier shaft in your wedges since the head is quite a bit heavier - I recommend no lighter than 100g for wedge shafts.
My ONLY complaint on these is that the black chrome finish wears off quite easily. I hit my 56 & 60 out of the sand, and the finish on the sole and leading edges of those two clubs were completely worn down to the metal after just 10-15 rounds.Playability Feel Price/Value - Does not perform as advertized

Have been using this wedge for 4 months now. Have never had any backspin or any quality shots. Head is very light and difficult to play in most bunkers. Too much bounce to play from fairway with winter grass. Am replacing it with a heavier head with less bounce.

The DTG Felon Wedge was designed to be an illegal wedge that creates as much backspin on the ball that technology will allow. This wedge utilizes extra deep and extra wide CNC milled grooves and face to spin the golf ball up to 50% more then conforming wedges. The classic shape and black color frames the golf ball at address for enhanced confidence. Although the wedge is illegal we will leave it up to you if you want to tell your playing partners.
