Very Hot face
As it relates to smaller golf club fitters, I have always given them a chance to prove if their clubs are poorly made or if they can perform.I purchased one of these clubs and I was skeptical and rightfully so.I played a round with the dtg felon and bench marked it against my burner draw driver which is a damn good club. With the felon I was able to get an extra 15-20 yards off the tee.I found the shaft was an inch shorter and the club was more forgiving.I was averaging 275 off the tee now I'm between 290-305.I can't guarantee you'll have the same results I don't know your swing mechanics. However, you do need to be able to rely of your sticks to perform at optimal results. In my opinion this club does what it promise.I have been making clubs for years. With small companies that specialize in components, you are able to customize you clubs which in turn enables you to tailor your clubs to match you swing and game.In all great club if they charged you 300.00 it would be worth it to me.

VERY POSITIVE
I BOUGHT THIS DRIVER WITH 12 DEGREES OF LOFT DUE TO ITS SIZE....GREAT MOVE! MY MIS-HITS TRAVEL 240 YDS. I STARTED HITTING A LITTLE MORE UPWARD AND WATCHED MY BALL FLY OVER 250 YDS REGULARLY BEFORE IT STARTS ROLLING. I LOVE THIS DRIVER!

Very Long
Have used many drivers....I am partial to clones as they are every bit as good if not better than any brand name I have ever purchased. I hit 280 to 300 yards on most drives and was not expecting any substantial gains....surprise, surprise.....now can hit 300- 330 yards. Wow. Was also thinking it might not go as straight...but again was very pleasantly surprised. Cannot work the ball as well, but hit it straight and get out the wedge. I like it alot, to sum it up.

Straight and long
I have to disagree with the other review. I mounted the head to a mid level shaft that I had cut extra long to 47". I was putting the ball in the middle of the fairway on every hit (something I have not been able to do with my taylormade burner). I have also been hitting longer that before. I am in love with this head.

Cheap construction
Got the club and already owned a 2009 Burner. Thought this would give me a "fun club" to use at the range and when messing around with buddies. Had the club 2 weeks, used it at the range twice and maybe 1-2 times at the course. I took it to the range, and on the first shot, the club skipped on the mat (no ball teed up yet, I was just loosening up), and the head dented on the bottom!

I never used the club again after that. In my opinion - not worth the money, but then again I bought it when it wasn't on sale. Also, I didn't notice any difference in distance. 250-270 without it and straight, 250 with it and sprayed the ball all over the place.

Good purchase
I purchased an assembled Felon driver with a UST gold 65 1" longer than standard regular flex shaft shaft about a year ago. Being less flexible and 66 years old, my driver swing speed has slowed to around 90 mph. This driver out hits the Taylormade 09 Burner I had been using by about 10 yards. If I were to purchase the Felon today, I would go with a 45-50 gram regular flex shaft to increase my swing speed. Seniors with a moderate a swing speed like mine considering purchasing this drive should not expect the gains someone with a 100 mph plus swing speed would get. The driver is well made, durable, and has performed well. If you are looking to work the ball, it's tough with this driver. It goes where the face is pointing. Another option for us seniors looking for more distance is to go with a high cor smaller and lighter head realizing some forgiveness would be lost.
This driver was a good purchase for me.

Details

The Diamond Tour Golf Felon Driver is designed to put some fun in the game by extending the COR to .860. By pushing the face spring effect limit over the USGA regulations, this driver will give golfers up to 10-30 yards (depending on your clubhead speed, the faster you swing the more spring will apply) of extra distance. The 500cc size also provides for forgiveness on mis-hits so not only will this driver be longer, it will also be straighter. Each Felon Driver comes with a free sleeve of Bandit Illegal Golf Balls.
