Have built myself 3 sets with these shafts (over the last 3 seasons) will be doing a 4th this year, I did notice the chrome flake previously mentioned on 1 shaft (out of 30) when I used the tube cutter, but haven't had any trouble using a chop saw. Found the flex to be consistent, no trouble to spine and/or flo any of the sets...no rust issues or bending...truthfully, I think these are great shafts. I love building a new set each year, and these shafts have never let me down.

Great shaft for price

I have been building clubs for over 15 years. I started using this shaft last year and built 4-5 sets with these and have not had any issues of the shaft chipping crushing. Feel is very good and works well in wedges and get as much spin with these as I did with my Vokeys.

Wish I never wasted my money

Bought these to make an iron set and they chipped when cut and once on the club they have bent and rusted very terrible shaft although they do produce a very soft feel it is not worth the trouble.

Not sure about this product

I've made sets of clubs before and never had a problem with the quality of Diamond Tour components but when I made another set of clubs for my brother with these shafts I noticed 2 things I've never experienced before.

First, when cutting the shafts with the usual tube/pipe cutter, the shaft began flaking off a silver coating at the point of the cut. Never seen that before. Also, when cutting the shaft at the butt end, the shaft began to buckle in slightly. I'm hoping the playabllity of these shafts will not be a problem.

Maybe I should have purchased a better known shaft like true temper like I usually do.
