What is the difference in 9-6AL-4V, 15-3-3-3 & SP 700 Titanium?

The reason why 15-3-3-3 or SP 700 is the premier titanium to manufacture heads is the fact that it is both stronger and has a high rate of elongation. The more elongation the easier it is to make the face "Spring" and because the tensile strength is higher it will not break even though it is flexing or "Springing" more than a 9-6AL-4V titanium. We can also make the face thinner with 15-3-3-3 and SP 700 beta titanium because the additional strength and elongation. The thinner the face, the better the rebound effect to longer the shot! Please keep in mind that most titanium heads just have the higher grade titanium just in the face area but there are exceptions! The cost for 15-3-3-3 Beta is typically about three times that of 9-6AL-4V. The cost for SP700 Beta is typically about six times that of 9-6AL-4V.
