I built this club to help bring down my spin rate and launch angle. I built it with the 8.5 degree head and an Aldila NV X-stiff shaft. I went from 16 degree launch angle and 3100+ spin rate to 10.6 degree launch angle and 2500 spin rate (swing speed 105) this gave me an additional 20 yards. If you are losing distance because of high spin rate consider going up a flex and down a degree in your driver it really helped me. This driver is every bit the equal of any of the taylormade r-series, buy this don't waste your money on TM.

I rarely take the time to review a purchase but I am compelled to make an exception. These clubs hit better than the real deal... which I was seriously hitting and considering. I was skeptical, to say the least but the price was enticing enough to give it a try. I bought the 3 metal and was so pleased I followed with the 5. The products perform and the adjustment screws do what is promised... I wanted more air... I added a heavier rear screw... and I got more air. I guess this is just the physics of it, but whatever, it works. Will they stand up over time? I can't say that yet but I have no reason to believe they won't. Nothing visually nor physically (admittedly only in a few rounds of play) would suggest they will not. Finally, and in some ways most importantly, service was precise and rapid. Very pleased.
