Redesign Did Not Work
Not sure what has happened to the quality here, but the head I purchased in May 2017 cracked when I hit a ball. This was not caused by a mis-hit. I hit the ball right in the sweet spot, and it sounded like a gun went off. It took months to get Diamond Tour to replace the defective head. What is going on with the quality here?

Highly Disappointed
All the other reviews were before the face redesign so I thought I would give this head a try since I love the matching fairway woods so much. I have been playing the Turner Ultraglide, which despite mediocre reviews I really liked. The one negative is that I purchased the 10.5 and I hit the ball too high. We have really wet fairways here and I don't get hardly any run. So I thought I would try the newest model in a 9.5. It looks and feels great but thats it. I hit it even higher than the Ultraglide so I have lost 10 to 20 yards. Plus the weights don't really work in this model. I have moved the launch weight all the way forward with no change in ball flight height. I prefer to hit a power fade but even with the weight set all the way in the fade position I can't hit anything but a draw. Blah if they had still had the Ultraglide available in 9.5 I would have just bought that.

Disappointing
I paired this head with a Fujikura Rombax shaft (as recommended by Diamond Tour). It was disappointing at best. It felt heavy and I lost about about 25 yards compared to my TM SLDR.

Waiting for an M2 Clone to come out. I have had enough with adjustable heads.

Cracked face again
Bought one. Replaced two and now have given up. It was the older version. The shipping stopped me from sending it back again. Metal fatigue below the face. Loved everything about it except for durability.

Por
Very disappointed in this product. Sounds, feels & flies cheap. The Taylormade Rocketballs driver of the shelf was better than this so-called improvement". I lost 30-40 yards in distance. Either the driver head I purchased is a dud...or the whole lot of these drivers are duds.

Not happy
Bought this head, installed and player 6 rounds only to find the bottom of the head, near the moveable weight had an 1.5 inch crack. It is covered under warranty but the hassle of returning the head, waiting for a replacement, installing the new one, I would not recommend this driver head.

The face is to bridle
Have had two of these heads and both cracked at the face. They were replaced for free but why have a club that's real hot then breaks wouldn't recommend it until this problem is fixed. Going back to the r15 clone.

Not sure yet
this head had alot of power but the faced cracked after 5 rounds of golf. DTG replaced it but it was a pain taking the head off and saving the shaft, and sending it back to DTG. I still haven't received the replacement head but will update once I mount it back to the shaft.

Very playable, but might have some problems.
The H1 head is very playable and I found that I could use an 8 1/2 degree and have same results as I have with the 10 1/2 (which I ordered and received the 8 1/2 in error). I carry the ball just as far but get more roll. I have it set for "high" and that probably helps. I do have one concern, and it is probably a one in a lifetime event, but the head cracked between the adjustment slot and the face. I guess the weld gave way. I am 71 years old and do not have the swing speed I had 50 years ago, or the power, so I don't believe that I caused the break. If you buy this club You will like its playability, but watch for defects. So many adjustment slots probably contribute to the problem.

major disappointment
i have bought components from dtg for years and have always been pleased, however this head is very disappointing. no solid feel anywhere on the clubface. you can feel the head twist open on almost every shot. the fade and draw adjustment is useless. my normal shot is right to left and even with the adjustment all the way to the draw side, balls start right and just goes further to the right. the high/ low adjustment either skies the ball or smothers it into the ground. i have been building clubs for over 30 years and assembled this head with a stiff flex pro launch red shaft and the feel and control was so bad, i pulled the shaft and shortened it by 1.5 inches to stiffen it further with no improvement in either feel or direction control. i cannot recommend this clubhead to anyone.

DESCRIPTION

Details

The Turner H-1 Driver employs a dual “Ultra Glide” movable weight system that controls not only the bias of a fade or a draw, but also the center of gravity. By having both systems in place, golfers will have an entirely new ability dial in the ball's trajectory and flight path. The H-1 incorporates variable face thickness in the face for maximum distance and maximum forgiveness. The Turner H-1 is also designed with reduced spin so drives will carry further and roll out. And to boot, it looks good in the bag!
