The Babylon driver from SMT Golf combines beta titanium, graphite, and tungsten copper and the result is one of the most advanced driver heads available in the component market today. By using graphite in the top of this driver the Babylon is 30 grams lighter than a normal driver. This is where the tungsten copper weight comes into play. The weight is inserted into the back heel of the driver to help give the Babylon a low center of gravity, which translates to a higher launch angle and reduced spin on the ball. The combination of these two along with the beta titanium face creates an unbelievably long and consistent driver. One thing to keep in mind with the Babylon driver is, that due to the high launch angle, the head actually plays ¾ of a degree weaker than the stated loft, so order accordingly.
