I recently purchased the 5 fairway when it was the deal of the week. I ordered it with the standard shaft. This club is unbelievable. I wanted to try it because I normally use the Callaway ft-i driver and I hit it pretty good, averaging 250-270 yards with a slight fade. I tried the club yesterday at the Las Palomas Golf Resort in Mexico, where I normally play. I measured several of my shots and hitting into a 5-7 mph breeze I was able to get 220 yds. On hole 2 I tried it from the tee box and with the 5-7mph cross breeze slightly at my back, the distance was 274 yds., measured by gps. This is one of the straightest, longest hitting clubs that I have ever tried. I highly recommend this club for anyone and wish that this same club was available in a 3. Any driver that dents due to a ball being struck outside the face will not be covered by warranty. Dents on the sole or on top of the club are not covered. Normal wear from play is not covered.
