Lose the high priced wedges
-
I am a USGTF teacher and also fix and repair clubs. What I find is once a golfer( men) realizes that a 220 yard drive is average for adult males and that the number on the card is more important than the number on the bottom of the club the game improves. I have taken numerous Vokeys and Clevelands out of players bags and replace them with these. For less than half the price of a name wedge they get a complete sort game.

Great gap wedge!
-
I bought this club as a chipper last year. I found I did better with my 7 iron (all my irons are hybrids). About 2 months ago I pulled it out of the garage and started hitting full shots using a half back stroke and a good accelerating down stroke with full follow through. It’s uncanny how it is consistently 80-85 yards. Bye bye gap wedge! This club found a home in my bag. I’m 66 and it works for me.

Like a Swiss Army Knife for your Shortgame
-
While I consider myself a good player I never get to practice enough around the greens due to my schedule. My game 50 yards in suffers because of this. I needed something I could hit 50 yards and in. I came across the HyEdge and decided to give it a try I purchased the 56* and shafted it up with a Red Vivid Steel Shaft and Red Lamkin REL grip. Well after a few trips to the course I can say that this is the best multipurpose club around. I tried everything with it 1/4 shots, chips, tight lies, fluffy lies and this thing dealt with all of them with ease. I was extremely happy with the checking ability of the club while it wont stop on a dime it does stop quite quickly. The design of the club ensures the ball is well back in your stance which leads to a nice descending blow and the high swing weight ensures you hit thru the ball and not quit on it. Others have had success with full shots but I have my wedges for that I needed a club that I could hit for any shot were I would use less than a half swing with my wedge. If you find yourself struggling with you short game do yourself a favor and take a chance on one of these. The 49* is on the radar for my next order.

Nice feel ... wimpy finish.

Picked this up to try a higher-lofted chipper. Turns out is is very similar to Clevelands Niblick. I built it up with a Graphite shaft "just fo kicks" and really like how it works and feels. Great addition to the bag. Only complaint is the darker finish wears off really easy.

outstanding performance

I've always been a sucker for "gimmick" clubs, chipper types in particular, and I always end up disappointed on some level. However, I had only joy with this club. I built a 56 deg with a DTG Vivid Black shaft, and the Tacki Mac Unified grip. Took it out for the first time today, with only a couple of practice shots in the backyard. Instantly felt comfortable with the club, the weight made it swing easily, cut through the rough with no drag.
I was able to make it do pretty much everything I wanted it to do. Short little chips were easy with a putting motion, flew straight, with enough backspin to keep it on the green. Full swings were just as effective, with a nice arc to ball flight, with acuracy too. Only used it once in the bunker, and it performed great.
I fully recommend this club for anyonelooking for consistency in their short game.
