Who would have thought
I bought my son this inexpensive set of clubs, I didn't know anything about them. Grand Hawk XP-28 with GT-65 graphite shafts. I bought a set of Taylormade R-7 and they just didn't feel right for me. I ordered a new set of Callaway's and played with these while waiting for them to show up. These clubs feel really solid on ball strikes and have been extremely accurate. I should have saved my $$$ and hit these first, Its going to be hard for me to put these away .

Great for my games
I have been playing for 3 years now and started off with used dunlop clubs and sometimes my friends would let me use there clubs. One friend has ping the other has callaway and I could feel the difference so I really wanted to buy new clubs. So one day I came across the dtg website and read all kinds of reviews and decided to order. I'm glad I did. They have a quality feel and definitely worth the money .I thought they were going to end up being cheep looking and fall apart but they aren't and they didn't. I'd definitely buy from dtg again. Thank you.

Excellent
I was on a budget a few years back, regarding my golf spending, but I needed new clubs. I tried the XP-28's with oversized grips. I immediately loved the feel, the weight distribution, and how solid the ball felt at impact. Not saying it's going to happen to everyone, but I had THREE holes-in-one last year; never been close before. It is very likely I will never go back to over priced brands again!!!

Simply some of the best clubs around!
I am new to the clone club idea, typically always shopped at specialty golf stores or the big sporting good stores to hunt down a deal. But after several months of research, and not finding a decent price on the big name sets, I took the plunge. I bought this particluar set based solely on the reviews, and the price was appealing as well.

I have been golfing a few times a month off and on for a year now after a 5 year stint of no golf (was stationed overseas). Had a previous set of Nike ignite2 irons that were just not easy to get used to again. Sold them, bought these. I could not be happier. I literally shaved 10 strokes off my score on the first use.

I set these up as cheaply as possible, and with that said, these are some of the best clubs I have ever had. Believe me, I've gone through a few sets of the big brand irons, and hands down these stack up. Customized these with a slight offset and spine alignment. I hit straighter and further than I ever have. I will be coming back here for new clubs when I need a set. I showed them off to the snob golfers I played with today, and they were quite impressed as well seeing as I had beat them all out. I changed a few minds today, my own included.

Thank you Diamond Tour Golf, you make a great quality product at an affordable price. Kind of wish I bought another set already!

Great value
I bought these clubs as an extra set for visitors to use when they visit us in Florida. My other irons are Cobras. After some positive feedback from friends using the clubs, I decided to play a few rounds with them. They are now my preferred set, and the Cobras are the visitors' clubs. Great launch, loft, and a few extra yards to boot. I've had these Grand Hawks for about three years and will definitely consider another set when the need arises. Highly recommend for the money.

Great clubs
I have hit many clubs over the years but none of them are like these. I had a fitting at a shop and then used the numbers to order from Diamond Tour. I hit them straight every time . PW -6 are straight as an arrow. I need to work on my 4and 5 because I hit very slight fade with them but not enough to to complain about. There is a world of difference between off the shelf clubs and made for you specifically. Love the clubs and will buy again. Not too soon because I bought 2 hybrids, driver, putter, and 2 wedges from Diamond Tour with my irons purchase so I should be set for awhile..lol.

Good Clubs, Great Price
These clubs are very good for the price. The distance is moderate, but the control is good and the distances are well stepped in 10 to 15 yard increments. I have 4-AW with high launch shafts. I am extremely happy with my purchase after 6 months, and recommend these clubs.

Great Clubs...Great Price
I purchased these clubs after being recommended to visit the Diamond Tour website. Being a left-handed golfer, it's hard to find golf at a decent price. These clubs feel great, has a nice sweet spot and I get great distance out of them!

Shaft problems
I purchased these irons last year and have about 20 rounds on them. They have played well and I have been pleased with the performance and consistency. I am a 7 handicap and noticed last time I played that my distances were really off on a couple of clubs. Upon further inspection I noticed that 3 of the irons had bent shafts right at the hosel between the hosel and ferrule. Being a club builder myself I know this is typically the result of a thin walled (cheap) shaft since the ferrule is put in place to add strength to the shaft-ferrule coupling. I talked with them and they are going to re-shaft them for me at no cost but I wonder how long before the other shafts lose their integrity and bend. Overall, good knock off head design but with poor cheap shaft selection. I would buy from them again if they offered a better iron shaft option.

No regrets
I hardly ever write reviews but it was the reviews that persuaded me to buy these clubs. However, I was still skeptical about buying these clubs because they are so cheap and you USUALLY get what you pay for. I just go mine in today and went straight to the range after work to test them out (I'm a little obsessed). The grips are nice, they look nice, and they swing great. I have always owned blade club faces which are skinny and less forgiving, but after playing with my cousins brand new $900 set of pings he just got , I realized that I needed a bigger club face with the cavity back because I was hitting his so much better, so my search lead me here.

I hit the ball very well with these, and I could not be happier with my decision. The only thing I can say about these that kind of goes against what some other people have said here, is that although I was hitting the ball better, I did not notice an increase in distance. I was hitting them about the same distance as before. That being said, I was hitting these so consistently today that I need to really figure out what my distances are because now they will actually be reliable. So, basically you can spend $100 dollars on these clubs or you can pay $900 for the name brand like my cousin and basically have the same club. I shoot low 90's which is not bad, so unless you are REALLY good (meaning pro) these will be just fine. And if you don't think low 90's is good then here is a little fun fact for you: only 10% of golfers can break 100.

Very Disappointing
I would like to review my experience with these clubs. I ordered these clubs in March and have played about 20 rounds with these clubs. Love the feel and they way they strike the ball. Last week I noticed that one of the clubs was bent at the end of the shaft. Diamond Tour agreed to take the club back and re-shaft it. Then yesterday a second club had a head come off and nearly hit someone. After a long discussion on the phone they are taking the clubs back and issuing a refund but I was certainly surprised by the poor quality of the clubs I received. In the past I have had clubs that have lasted for 10+ years without a problem with the shafts. The interesting thing is when I called with the 1st club problem they said they no longer carry the shafts they installed on my clubs. I would have loved to have them tell me they would rush the clubs back and repair and overnight them back or send a replacement set out but their response was it would be at least a week to 10 days from the time they received them in the heart of golf season. Despite the way the clubs felt and played I would not recommend purchasing from them until they address their quality issues.

Grand Hawk XP-28 clubs are great.
I received my clubs as a Christmas gift to myself in Dec, 2013. Since then I've dropped my handicap from 18 to 12!!! Works for me, @ 68 yrs old. I started hitting my 4 iron instead of the old 3 wood I had on par 5's. The wedge and 9 iron increased my greens in reg!! Hmmmm
Works for me!!! Now all I need is an illegal driver!!! Hmmmm

Must be the shoes!!??LOL

The price and quality still amazes me.
I have had these clubs going on 3 years now. I had them lengthened and had the lie angle
adjusted. I played fairly well with these clubs, but got bitten to buy a new set, after much
research, web, asking friends, etc. I decided on a brand new out of the box, set of Mizuno
JPX-EZ, supposed to be very forgiving etc., etc.. on sale for $699.00. I have played that
set for three rounds, topping just about every shot, then realized I had the X-P 28's
lengthened, and lie angle adjusted, took them back out and played a round today, and,
well, the new clubs are going on sale, and I will be back to playing the Clones. This is a
true story, and I do not work for Diamond Tour.

If you are a beginner like myself, you will love these clubs. Great balance, feel and the price is unbeatable. I've only been golfing steadily for two years now and I can see myself slowly improving. These clubs are a great way to get quality, professional grade clubs at a competitive price for beginners. Thanks Diamond Tour!

I played these irons for three years now and am in need of a new set of irons after going and trying the newer irons i have found that these are as long or longer then most out and a heck of a lot more forgiving no problem shaping these irons and trajectory control is an ease, overall feel is amazing. Buy these irons with no fear on performance and value.

Excellent clubs
Replaced my Callaway x16's with these clubs. Comparable clubs, but ordered with the true temper dynamic gold stiff shafts which are must better feel than the uniflex callaway shafts. Hit the ball higher and straighter with this combo, distance about the same. You can hardly miss with these clubs. If you want to hit the ball straight this combo works. Cannot beat the price, a comparable callaway set is $500.

excellent ... don't hesitate
I own an set of callaway x-20 irons and needed a club that would hit 100 yards on a full swing (my PW goes 115 yds and my SW goes 80 yds) so I ordered an AW from diamond tour. I was initially was skeptical about clone golf clubs but the quality of the materials (club head, shaft and grip) and workmanship are phenomenal. I am extremely satisfied to the point where I routinely choose the club over my callaway options for shots between 30-70 yds! Thanks diamondtour! I will be coming back in the near future and am spreading the word. As a fellow Chicagoan, it also feels great to support a local business. Please keep up the good work!

Excellent clubs.
I was skeptical before ordering. How can I be getting good clubs for such a low price? After receiving my clubs and seeing the build quality, I was impressed. 1 range visit and 3 rounds of 9 holes each, I'm very pleased to say these clubs surpassed all my expectations. I am really accurate now with these and can work the ball too. Thanks DTG. I am going to be a customer for years to come.

Great Clubs Even Better price
I just purchased these irons. I ordered the 3-PW set. The set came with the 3 and 4 hybrids. I am amazed. I have only had the opportunity to take them to the range so far due to weather up north. A friend I golf with all summer went with me and was amazed at how well I was striking the ball with these irons. This is only my second summer golfing a lot. Last year I used a set of Cobra SS irons that I purchased used. I am hitting the ball much better with these irons. I was able to hit 5 balls with my pw at around 110-125 yards. I am amazed at how well these irons feel and perform. When I went to the range it was a muddy mess because of all the rain we have been getting, however I could not wait anymore to try out the new irons. They preformed great in the bad conditions! I was still able to get under the ball and strike it with ease. I cannot wait to go out with some other friends who mocked my poor playing last year! I will never ever buy another name brand club.

I also purchased the Turner Ablaze Offset Driver. WOW! Is all I can say. I was driving the ball 200-250 yards with my slice cut in half. My friend was so impressed he wanted the link to buy the driver. However, the driver is no longer on the site. The turner Ablaze off set is gone the only offset available is the II. This is a friend that golfs a lot and played in junior high and high school, and he never uses a driver. He will be from now on as soon as he can get his hands on the Turner Ablaze Offset.

Great product, fast shipping, amazing craftsmanship, and tremendous quality. I will only be purchasing from Diamond Tour Golf for all my clubs. I am selling my woods so I can purchase some from here. I am sold and have only been to the driving range! Thank you!

second nature
I have owned my XP-28s for a couple of years. Getting used to them didn't take very long. Now it feels like second nature hitting them. My playing partners are amazed at the consistency I get from them. I get better distance than with my old set, but I use soft balls for control. So, I am "on in regulation" nearly every hole.
I have thought about buying other brands, but would really miss my 28s. I wouldn't trade them straight across for the "big name" clubs.

Great Irons
I have been playing Callaway irons for years. I was just about to purchase a new set of Callaway X-22 irons when I came across the Diamond Tour XP-28's. They were built to my exact specs and ready in 2 days for a fraction of the cost. They are just as good as any Callaway club I ever hit if not better. In fact, I'm hitting the ball 5 yards longer with each club compared to my old Callaway X-18's and the ball just jumps off the club face. I'll be buying all my future clubs from Diamind Tour Golf - I only wish I had found them sooner!

The Grand Hawk XP-28 iron has perimeter weighting that has been maximized to improve the moment of inertia (MOI). This improvment allows for more forgiveness on off-center strikes. Although the XP-28 has game improvement features, the center of gravity position has been designed to generate the optimal ball-flight trajectories. Its classic shape has a slightly thinner topline than most game improvement irons, yet still incorportes a large sweet spot for improved playability and forgiveness to attack any pin on the course. A great design for all playing levels.
