The Grand Hawk GTD Interfuse IW-3 combines the length of titanium with the ultra light weight of carbon fiber graphite and the results are longer drives off the tee. With a size of 460cc, the IW-3 is more forgiving and produces a spring like effect that helps to propel the ball faster thus resulting in longer drives. By using carbon fiber graphite in the crown of the head, weight has been redistributed to the back of the sole, the heel as well as the toe of the driver. The weight at the back of the driver will help to produce a higher launch angle with less spin, which translates to more distance and roll off the tee. Weight has also been distributed near the bottom of the heel and the toe area, which helps to keep the head more square at impact along with helping to promote a draw.
