A handful of friends and myself will be making a trip down to the Riviera Mia area in Mexico this winter. For those of you that don't know, the Riviera Mia is pretty much the entire 60 miles south of Cancun. I have been down there several times and played golf each time I went down. The courses are nice but very expensive, some upwards of $300 a round. Just wondering if anyone has found a cheaper way to play down in that area or if anyone knows a good course that is less expensive? Any feedback would be appreciated. _________________ Thanks and please feel free to contact me with any questions.

try these
http://www.rivieramayagolfcourses.info/
a couple of those go for $100 a round (still expensive imo, but better than $300)

last month i went to costa rica on a vacation and was looking to play some golf at the beach resorts... i think the biggest problem with these kind of golf courses is they are aimed towards a select crew (mostly rich people) and i feel it's the same in mexico... golf is a very expensive sport in those countries and probably 1% of the population can afford it
unlike in the US or europe, golf isn't a popular sport with so many public courses
just my 2 cents |
