| I've read that different manufacturers' stiffness designations can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. For example, a UST stiff may actually flex like a Grafalloy X-stiff. Any of you have an idea of how the brands compare? thanks! |

To make matters even more confusing, different shaft models from the same maker can play quite differently. There are some who measure shaft frequencies among other things to compare apples to apples. Here's a site that attempts to help as long as you understand what the measurements mean. I don't pretend to be an expert.
