ordered on oct 22nd and got them delivered 1 week later in germany!
could have been faster if it wasn't because of stupid german customs who didn't believe the value of the golf set is $350 as stated on the invoice
the efficiency and friendliness of your sales team is stunning!
anyways, tried out the driver and the guy there kind of prohibited me to use that there... he said the ball was flying over the trees (that's around 300 yards) lol? with my old driver i was hitting like 230 (but it's a really old driver... probably 10 years old... borrowed of course)
woods, i've never been able to hit woods... maybe i'm not used to it... but keep hitting the mat before the ball, which doesn't happen with the irons...
first time hitting hybrids... not quite used to it but i boy balls fly farther than my woods...
irons, cool design! my gf thinks they look cute... the feel, the distance... beats the callaway i was borrowing from my friend...
no chance to try the putter... will come back later with more feedback...
i also picked up a set of z force reflex x3, but i'll get to test them in december...
thanks DTG! |

thanks for your offer Jeff! then i'll ask here
when i'm trying to hit a wood, i place the ball around 1 to 2 inches to the right of where i would normally place the ball for the driver
but still keeping the ball between my left foot and the middle
7 out of 10 times i hit the mat first
any idea what could be wrong? grip? stance? ball placement?
thanks!
btw, my boss saw the set and went to the golf course to try them... he said the hybrids were the best he has ever hit! |

Your result of hitting behind the ball can come from a few different things but more importantly it comes from the golf club coming into the ball to steep. Try keeping the club on the ground longer when taking it back and think of sweeping the club back along the ground. This should help to keep the swing more circular and less steep coming into the golf ball.
Let me know how it works out,
Jeff |

thanks Jeff, will try that
where should the ball be placed for the fw woods and hybrids? should i hit them where i normally hit the driver?
EDIT: ok, went to the range today... my 3 woods and 3 hybrid are carrying the same distance... so i guess i'm doing something wrong! |

Steven,
The ball position with the fairway woods should be about 2 balls right of where your driver position is. This is assuming the driver ball position is off the inside of your left foot for the right handed golfer. The hybrids should be played in a central location just like you would play your irons.
Thanks,
Jeff |
