Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
At Diamond Tour we offer shaft frequency matching and also shaft spine location using an Auditor spine location machine.
Here is a little information on what the Auditor locates and why it is important.
A spine can be visualized as a longitudinal line or plane on a golf shaft that is more resistant to bending than any other line or plane. By locating the spine it can be placed in a predetermined position. Every clubmaker has their own preferred positioning, we use 9 o'clock. The goal is to facilitate repeatability via a stable plane.

Let me know if you have any other questions,
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

I am a clubmaker and offer my customers spining and more importantly IMO FLO'ing (flat line oscillation). I use an NF4. I align as you do N1/NBP at target.

What I am looking for is if you at DTG have done shaft Zone profiling as per data on this site. http://www.shaftprofiles.com/

This way I could compare your line of FGS shafts vs. other shafts in the industry. I think, it's really the only way one can compare one shaft to another either via deflection (NF4 or NF 9) or frequency.

Another question what FGS shaft profiles are compares closely to to SK Fiber Pure Energy and TT80?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
To answer your question we currently do not have zone profiling data, we have not participated in it as of yet but that is not to say we wouldn't in the future. I have brought the information to our assembly manager who wouldn't have time in the near future to do so but says he might be willing to do some research in the off season on it.
Regarding the SK Fiber Pure Energy comparison we would need to know which flex, the pure energy has a pretty wide range of weights as the flex changes, also the kick point changes so we would not be able to cover the shaft with just one of our shafts.

Thanks,
Jeff
