Recently, I've had the opportunity to try out a bunch of different grips which has been fun and annoying all in the same. When I think I've found something I really like, I find something that just feels better. I've gone from playing Lamkin Crosslines to trying GP DD2s, Winn DSis, the latest rage- GP New Decade Multi-Compounds and the Winn PCI Hybrids. I thought I was sold on the Multi-Compounds, even picking out different colors for woods and irons, but the more I played around the more I felt the Hybrids were for me. I'll probably have to stick with some GP Velvets for now, but I could see tearing those MC's off for some Hybrids. I've posted this just to see what others thoughts on the wide selection of grips are out there? Anyone else enjoy and loathe (because of varietys sake) the custom grip experience?

I have to use oversize grips and I personally love Winn Oversize grips, I think they are the best made. This year I switched to the DSI Oversize Black and had Diamond Tour install them for me. They are probably the best feeling grips I've ever had

| I've read lots of people talk about Winn not being durable, but I still think I'll give them a go. I think part of the durability problem is that the synthetic grips have to be treated different than a rubber grip. Soap will ruin them and you can't scrub them like a dirty pan. I'm going to put a couple of PCi Hybrids on my woods and wedges and I'll keep this forum updated on how they work out. Any other comments out there? |

When it comes to picking grips the only thing that really matters is getting the size correct. From there it really is personal preference from one golfer to another. There are still numerous players on tour that use the old green victory grips that came out in the 1970's. Others like the newest styles and colors like the Golf Pride Multi compound corded grips. The Winn style or synthetic grips always feel very soft and good to most golfers but they do not typically last as long as a rubber grip and are often more expensive.
Here are some of our best sellers:
Golf pride tour wrap
Golf Pride tour velvet
Lamkin Crossline
Lamkin Perma Wrap Classic
Winn Excel
Winn DSI
