| I've been playing my Hatton DTG-5 irons for the last year, and I really like them. They are very forgiving, soft feeling and very satisfying to use. Mine are left handed, have the DT Lite shaft in A flex with Lamkin Crossline grips, and tho I have a couple of other iron sets, I seem to use the Hattons more than the others. I also have Cleveland TA-6s, and MacGregor M455s, which are also very forgiving. The Hattons have a very solid, yet soft feel and I seem to be able to judge distances very well with them. Considering what my other OEM irons cost new, the DTG-5s are a real bargain today. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone wanting a forgiving cavity back iron, which also is forged. Finding such a nice club in left hand was surprising. They can hold their own with any high priced iron I have tried, and cost only a fourth of what many other brands do. I got them custom made for me by Diamond Tour, and I find that their service is second to none. They're a fine company selling some fine golf products at reasonable prices. I think my next purchase is going to be one of their drivers. DTG irons perform and won't break your wallet. |
