I had my clubs stolen so I'm looking for replacements.
I did the Diamond Tour on-line fitting suggestions that came up with this for driver/woods:
--------------------------------------------
Recommended Club Length: Standard
Shaft Recommendations:
Regular Flex, Slightly Softer Shaft Flex Than Listed.
Recommended Grip Size: Standard
--------------------------------------------
and this for irons:
--------------------------------------------
Recommended Lie Angle: Minus 1°
Recommended Club Length: Standard
Shaft Recommendations:
Regular Flex, Slightly Softer Shaft Flex Than Listed.
Recommended Grip Size: Standard
------------------------------------------------------
Opinions about the advisability of the following?:
For Driver I am considering the SMT deep bore 455 12* or the Bang-o-Matic driver head (12*) with UST v2 hi-launch shaft in regular flex but with a shorter shaft (-1").
I had reasonable success previously with two drivers - a Nike Sasquatch "Lucky 13" nike A-flex shaft driver, and a Bang Mellow Yellow 420 12* driver with a regular flex bi-matrix shaft. Both of these drivers were a little shorter than regular (closer to 3-wood length).
Can anyone suggest combinations for hybrids, irons and wedges? I do not usually hit fairway woods having better results with hybrid clubs. I consider the shafts to be as important or perhaps more important than the club heads and I am willing to pay for appropriate graphite shafts in my clubs.

Sorry to hear about the loss of you clubs, I have been there 3 times myself and it's never much fun.
The SMT driver would be a good choice and is one of our more popular models on the Back Tee portion of our website.
Here are some styles that we sell that have had great feedback. The xp-28 and the Turner ablaze combo sets would both be great choices for just about any golfer. These offer allot of forgivability along with much room to improve and plenty of workability. As far as the wedges the CNC spin series has been the most popular style this year however adding the matching wedges to the iron style you choose is another popular option.
Either way I would like to talk to you and get a little more information so that I can better recommend clubs that would work better for you. Please feel free to give me a call at 800-826-5340 X 201 my name is Jeff.
Thanks,
Jeff |
