I tried the previous model of the Felon Driver in the past and while I loved the distance gains I had from it, I cracked two of them. I was very new to the game (still am) and didnt always hit on or near the sweet spot.
This 2015 Felon is perfect! It seems much more durable and hits FAR & STRAIGHT. I would definitely recommend this club for anyone wanting a bigger sweet spot and more distance in their driver!Price/Value Playability Feel - 3 to 4 stars

I put this club together using a Grafalloy Prolaunch red shaft and a 12 degree Felon head. They are right when they say that you will get more distance. I got about 30 more yards on most drives and 50 more yards every now and then. I move the ball left to right with this set up more than it should. This club would be much better if they made it with an offset head and a 1 degree closed face. If they were to bring out an offset head next year I would buy it in a heart beat.

I put together a 12* with a closed face (-1*) for a friends dad. He just retired last year and picked up golf as pretty much a beginner. His old driver appeared to be way too long in length, not enough loft, and sat open at address. He was pushing everything to the right. Or hitting a fade right. Asked him about what he wanted out of a driver and he just wants to hit it farther. He doesn't post scores for HC and doesn't compete in tournaments.
Built the driver and we met at the range. Virtually every shot was straighter and longer than his old club. The closed face angle helps with keeping him straighter and the hot face just makes it more fun for him.

The new Diamond Tour Felon 485cc takes “Non-Conforming” driver distance to an entirely new level. We have worked with our partners overseas to come up with the best way to hit the ball longer than any other driver we have ever produced. Of course, it does not conform to USGA rules, but hey, golf is supposed to be fun! By making the driver larger (485cc), we have optimized the size of the face to allow for a 2mm 15-3-3-3 beta titanium face. This is much thinner than standard drivers which allows for an increased “trampoline effect,” thus producing more distance. Our testing has shown about a 10 percent increase in distance when hit in the center of the face! If you are looking to hit the longest drives of your life, give the new DTG Felon a try!
