There have been many other super jumbo putter grips made and marketed in the golf industry in the past 30 years. However, none of them were very successful due to those grips being too heavy. A regular putter grip weighs 60 to 70 grams. When golfers switch to a super jumbo putter grip, that grip weighs over 200 grams, which in turn creates a problem with feeling the putter head. Any improvement on short to medium length putts with the heavy putter grip is negated by the loss of feel on long putts.
