They are long hitters. Good out of reasonable rough. Well-priced. I purchased the 3-6 Airlifts hybrids ( = to 2-5 irons loft-wise) and used high quality name-brand graphite shafts. Built to iron length, as these heads have iron-like lie angles. I'm a bit of a fader/slicer on longer irons, so the 3 and 4 are better for straight shooters. The 5 and 6 were fine, able to work a draw or fade. I eventually re-made the Airlifts for my mother-in-law, a very straight shooter, and they all work for her. I then got the offset Turner Ablaze for myself and those are perfect for me. My straight-shooting buddy (golfing 30 yrs, vs my 3) LOVED the Airlift 3 and 4 when he tried them. The Airlifts are sturdy, too, the way they are painted only on the top. If you shoot your 3 wood and long irons straight, you'll love these.

I started playing golf 3 around 3 years ago and I had trouble breaking 100. I purchased a 17, 21, 25 degree hybrid and saw some improvement in my game. Then along came Diamond Tour Golf and I ordered a 29 degree Tubby. It worked great! Then I ordered an 35,40,45 degree AirLift hybrid. Now my handicap has dropped to 85 - 88. To say I am HAPPY would be an understatement, I am elated as I can see that my shots are improving at a steady clip. I am 71 years old and I am not a "Heavy Hitter" but can compete with the guys who are. THANK YOU DIAMOND TOUR GOLF! I am really enjoying a game I loved even better.

I have purchased the 3,4,5, and sometime later, the 6, to fill a loft gap. Both I, and friends who tried them liked the Airlift's ability to be hit well by average players. I purchased them primarily because their lie is so close to my iron requirements, i.e., more upright than typical hybrids, and made them to equivalent iron lengths. The 3-Airlift to a 2 iron length, etc. The 8 gram increments mean the weights are lighter for the long hybrids, if compared to the same number iron. The lofts are 3-4 deg. stronger than the equivalent iron, therefore people are pleased with the distance. After I realized these are weighted and lofted as though one iron longer than their respective numbers (i.e. the #3 is really a 2 iron, but hit-able, the 4 a 3iron, the 5, a 4 iron, etc), I re-assessed my loft gaps and took out the 6 Airlift after I decided to increase my loft gaps so as to have room for more wedges and a chipper.. A 17.5* 3 iron is not a 3 iron, it's a 2 iron. Except they are hit-able for the average player. Stronger lofts has been a trend for years, but it's essentially a marketing trick, usually making the long irons and drivers harder to hit. In the case of the AirLifts, the long hybrids, cut to iron lengths, work very well. With the caveat that the buyer understand WHY they seem to hit so long, and that the loft gaps in a combined AirLift-regular iron set must be carefully considered, I'd recommend these (and the Turner hybrids) to anyone. ...

I purchsed this club about a month ago and finally got it out on the course. I purchased the 21 degree club and can hit it straighter and longer that any 4 iron I have ever hit. I average about 180-190 with this club which is a great improvement for me. I will soon be purchasing the 17.5 degree and putting to rest forever my 3 and 4 irons. Thanks DTG.

I had tried the 3 and 4 hybrids a year or so ago and had worked through some iron sets I bought and some I built, and I decided to try the more lofted lefty versions when they became available. I loe these clubs. I put the 8-9-10 heads on a stiff steel shaft and the 7-6-5-4-3 on hybrid graphite shafts and I can hit greens with accuracy and feel like I don't have to try to kill the ball. A smooth swing makes the ball rocket! I love being able to adjust lengths and stifnesses in my clubs and I cannot wait for the season to begin anew so I can strart drilling greens. How about a lefty 2 please?

I purchased this club in 17.5 degrees with the Graphite sedign YS 11 Hybrid shaft R flex, which is a great deal at $18.00! This is my go to club off the tee if the hole is under 370 yards. It goes about 220 yds and the flight is piercing. I really enjoy this club from the fairway as well because of it's low profile face. I no longer carry a 3 or 4 iron and would highly recommend this club! The quality is awesome and what a great price! Thanks Diamondtour!
