They are long hitters. Good out of reasonable rough. Well-priced. I purchased the 3-6 Airlifts hybrids ( = to 2-5 irons loft-wise) and used high quality name-brand graphite shafts. Built to iron length, as these heads have iron-like lie angles. I'm a bit of a fader/slicer on longer irons, so the 3 and 4 are better for straight shooters. The 5 and 6 were fine, able to work a draw or fade. I eventually re-made the Airlifts for my mother-in-law, a very straight shooter, and they all work for her. I then got the offset Turner Ablaze for myself and those are perfect for me. My straight-shooting buddy (golfing 30 yrs, vs my 3) LOVED the Airlift 3 and 4 when he tried them. The Airlift Hi-Rise Hybrid Series redistributes the weight further back and lower than traditional game improvement irons. The results are a maximum launch angle, increased size of the sweet spot, and more forgiveness and distance. The wide sole is designed to allow players to make better contact with the ball without digging into the ground.
