Good Ferrule
For LTT... use a little acetone on a cotton swab to first clean and ream out the inside of the ferrule. Start the ferrule by placing in on the bench then pushing the shaft into the top, then use a 7/16 deep socket and a hammer to tap the ferrule onto the shaft the rest of the way... works great. Ferrules can be tight, and the colored ones are, but then that helps hold them in place, and they look and perform nicely.

Jus a bit of a hastle
I mainly build as a hobby for myself and friends and have just recently started expanding my client list. As far as ferrules go, I've always figured they are what they are....until I tried these for a new all white driver I built myself. The 45g nano shaft DTG makes is an absolute beast and I highly recommend anyone give it a try. Back to the point, these ferrules are an absolute pain. I've never had to spend time reaming out a stupid ferrule before. The inner diameters of these are far too small to be ready to use out of the bag. They're a good enough quality and finish just as nicely as others I've used, it just took enough of my time reaming it out that my quick set started to cure and ticked me off. The only thing I've ever gotten from DTG that was worthy of a poor review.

Ferrules are required on metal clubheads with flat-topped (non-raduiused) hosels to provide the taper and enhance the appearence of the club. Many of our ferrules have outside diameters that closely match those of our clubhead hosels and thus require little or no turning.
